Any self-respecting Strictly Come Dancing fan will tell you that this weekend's show will be broadcast live from the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.

But what you might not have realised is that it will feature a performance by none other than Rod Stewart, who'll be singing Same Old Song.

According to The Sun, Rod's wife Penny Lancaster, who was a competitor on Strictly in 2007, will perform a cha cha cha with professional dancer Matthew Cutler during her husband's performance.

A source said: "Penny is really excited. She's been practising like a demon. She's quite nervous. She feels like Cheryl Cole performing on X Factor - hopefully the judges will be as nice to her."
