Irish twins John and Edward Grimes might not be the most talented act still appearing in The X Factor, but their popularity seems to know no bounds.

The duo, known collectively as Jedward, have been continually supported by the public, which has meant that better acts have been forced to leave the show earlier than expected.

Simon Cowell will no doubt hate this idea - he was quoted as saying "If they win, it will be a complete and utter disaster. I'd probably sulk for about six months and get on a very fast plane out of the country."
