More about Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing is a reality show featuring celebrities with professional dance partners competing in Ballroom and Latin dances. Each week the couples perform to impress a panel of judges and the viewing public in order to survive potential elimination.

The judging panel is famous for its 'goodies' Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli and its 'baddies' Arlene Phillips and Craig Revel Horwood.

The BBC show presented by Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly is broadcast live on Saturday evenings during its run.

What do you think?

Peter Dangolitis

Dave
How can the judges say that Rachel made mistakes and then give 10 and she had the only person to have danced the Argentine Tango and yet Lisa and Brendons was better and by the marking the judges wanted an all Girl final

I have watched Strictly since it started and I am glued to it every yr. The judges are brill altho the "baddies" cud learn to be a bit more lenient when the couples first start off!! Everybody has to learn sometime and whilst I agree that constructive criticism is all well and gud, some leniency is called for sometimes!! I personally wud luv to see the judges be made to take part and the professionals judge them on their performance - see how they like it!! I also think that, whilst there is going to be at least one couple every yr who get the "sympathy" vote, the public shud try their best to vote for the people who have talent and not because they feel sry for them. I felt for John who in the end decided to leave, but he did the decent thing. I'm cheering Rachel & Vincent on - come on guys - go for it!!

Dave
The judges are so rude sometimes and the dancers are doing their best. Could we,. the viewers see if the judges could do better.come on Arlene get up on the floor and do your stuff.

Dave
Congratulations to all contestants, for a wonderful show tonight. Good luck to Lisa & Brendan, they really deserve their place. The show is now a really good competition and any one could win.

Robbie H

Dave
What a shame that the bullies on the judging panel have managed to get John to go, why allow the public to vote if we are going to have our favourites bullied off the programme. Whose paying for these people to sit there, us the public!

Felicity

Dave
I absolutely love Strictly and am glued to it every Saturday and Sunday evening. I totally agree with the judges that John Sergeant should have been the one to leave this week. He is a lovely person but it is unfair that he stays in at the expense of a better dancer. I love dance but I am not an expert - that is why we have the judges. They can't all be wrong. John I love you but you have gone far enough!!

Edna Staines

Dave
I love strictly and wouldn't miss it for anything, but it will turn into a farce soon if John Sergeant continues, it means someone who can dance will loose there place and this is so unfair. Come on public, vote for the dancing not the underdog. then it will not be a travesty.

Barbara

Dave
For heavens sake, ask someone please to stop Brucie with his "I'm not doddery....." routine, he can barely read it coherently from the autocue. he's doing a good job for his age and will be a hard act to follow, but please, drop that gag, every week, it's wearing too thin, unlike his toupee.........!!

Brian Lewis

Dave
Tell Brucie to watch it - he is beginning to get silly again and showing off far too much. Tell him to learn a bit of humility and just co-host the show with a bit of common sense and dignity. He is now far too old to try his old tricks and his jokes are just plain daft and boring. Better still, give him the sack, he's had a good run for his money.
