Prepare to recoil in horror as Bear Grylls returns with even more perilous escapades which see him visit some of the world's most inhospitable places. Continuing his global journey Bear heads to Indonesia to explore an area known as the Pacific Ring of Fire, an immensely volatile location where 80% of the world's biggest earthquakes occur, including the epicentre of the quake that caused the 2004 tsunami. Bear also drops into the Indonesian rainforests, home to Sumatran Tigers, elephants and 10,000 plant species, including the carnivorous man-sized pitcher plants.

If that's not challenging enough... it's off to hell and back for Bear as he drops in to Namibia's Skeleton Coast aka 'the gates of hell' to endure the dry river beds where flash floods can kill in minutes. In true Bear style he'll also be negotiating aggressive elephants, demonstrating how quickly deadly dehydration can set in, and avoiding snakes and scorpions - unless of course they're on the menu!
