Changing the TV guide settings
You can change the settings of the TV guide at any time, using the "Change settings" button. If you are logged in, your settings will automatically be saved for you and used no matter what computer you access the listings from. If you don't have an account yet, your settings will still be saved as a cookie on your PC.
When you click on the button, a panel will open up that allows you to make changes to your TV guide.
Set your regions
Because TV programmes can vary across the country, the guide allows you to pick which region you are in for both BBC and ITV channels. Simply choose your region from the three drop-down menus at the top of the settings panel.
Set your TV provider and channels
You can also set your TV provider from this panel, so only the channels that you are able to receive will be shown in the guide. Pick the appropriate provider from the list of those available.
Alternatively, you can pick exactly what channels you want to see by selecting the check boxes. Channels are organised by type (entertainment, music etc), and you can either select all, choose some individually or deselect the whole section.
Order your channels
Lastly, you can use the settings panel to decide which order the channels are displayed in. Pick a channel name in the box, then use the up and down arrows next to it to move its' position in the listing.
Once you're happy with your selections, press "Save changes" and you'll be taken back to the guide, where your new settings will take effect.
