The exclusive pre-school break starts on Monday 22nd September and will give children a chance to work alongside Annabel making cookies...and not just because cookie-making is fun! The break coincides with a birthday party for children's favourite pink character, Anxious the Elephant...and stage-show friends Polly and Naughty Ned will be helping to bake too!
After a morning rustling up tasty cakes and biscuits everyone will be invited to Anxious' party in the afternoon - with party games, dancing and of course a chance to eat the cookies.
Aimed at tots and toddlers the break at Combe Haven will include all sorts of fun activities for little ones. As well as Haven's own popular Wake and Shake sessions there will be a free Tumble Tots session to develop agility, balance and co-ordination and a free goody bag with a swim nappy to help encourage youngsters into the water.
Haven's Water Tots sessions and Learn2Swim lessons have proved hugely successful with around 90,000 children of all ages taking part and improving their skills and confidence in the water. To really get the message across about water safety the RNLI will be visiting the park to provide extra guidance about keeping your child safe in and around the water.
Other activities during the break include a Bonny Baby Competition with photos, a 'Toppers World of Puppets' puppet show and a chance to see the Zoo Troop - a lively stage-show with Rory the Tiger and his friends in a new role as eco-super-heroes.
Annabel Karmel will host a session at Combe Haven to answer your questions, talk about some of her special child-friendly recipes and sign books for parents.
