If you do choose to hit the slopes make sure you pre-book ski passes online for the best deal. Renting equipment is quick and easy with 8 Skistar rental shops on the resorts, it's up to you where you rent and return your equipment.
Winter activities

If you want a taste of other activities in Åre I have to recommend sledging with the huskies, the snow mobile tour up Reindeer Mountain and the 90 foot zipline for the more adventurous. Other adrenalin activities include kitesurfing, paragliding, ice driving, ice fishing and much more.
Accommodation

For those who want a taste of luxury, want to splash the cash or are on a business trip then The Copperhill Lodge, the only 5* hotel in Åre, is for you.
For those with young children or large families The Holiday Club offers indoor activities such as an adventure pool complex, bowling, golf simulator, adventure golf and much more all starting from around 5475 Sek (approx £464) for a four night stay.
Åre also offers Hotel Torg a simple but stylish youth hostel central to the ski lifts and slopes, prices start from around 1445 Sek (approx £122) for a Sunday to Thursday break.
