Personalise Windows Desktop with photos

Author: Scott Colvey
Date: 16-10-2009

While Windows makes it easy to change the main Desktop image with another one of the same size and shape, it’s harder to make real visual changes that incorporate, for example, more than one picture. In this Workshop we’ll explain how to use a handy little program that offers lots of control over the way images can be displayed on the Windows Desktop. It’s called Desktop Takeover, it’s free, and it makes it easy to drag individual photos from any folder on the hard disk and then position and resize them.It can also be used to set up ‘channels’ images that are stored in the same folder that can be set to change automatically at a predetermined time. In this way, the Desktop becomes an ever-changing visual feast.
