About the virus
The virus is usually sent to e-mail inboxes with the subject line as "Hi". Like a lot of viruses that have been sent via email it can look like an email from technical support. It has also been reported that the attached file uses the the Microsoft calculator icon.
Users' machines will only be infected if they open and run the attachment in the email. If the file is opened it will then access your address books for e-mail addresses and will then send the virus to new victims (your friends). The virus also alerts other hacker of vulnerabilities in your PC.
But computer security experts were divided on the seriousness of the threat from the "Bagle" worm, but reckoned home users were most at risk.
