If you’re looking for a 1080p LCD TV that isn’t an eyesore in your lounge and won’t break the bank, the Sharp LC-37B20E is an excellent choice. This 37-incher produces a decent picture with exceptional detail on Blu-ray material, plus crisp and clear sound quality

We Like: Styling; picture; sound; menu systems

We Don't Like: Still got some of Sharp’s weirdness, such as crazy channel ordering; could be cheaper; requires substantial set up

Accessories: Blu-ray player; games console; HD TV service

Judgement: A good TV but not one that shouts ’high end’ at us. The smooth motion on movies, sharp picture and great sound certainly do suggest that it’s a very good mid-range TV
