A very well-built laptop, the Acer TravelMate 6592 is a solid desktop replacement. It boasts an ergonomically curved keyboard for comfy typing. A reasonably powerful spec, good connectivity and acceptable battery life round out a well-priced package

We Like: Ergonomic keyboard; fingerprint scanner; built-in webcam

We Don't Like: Low-resolution screen; standard battery life could be better; webcam lacks sophistication

Judgement: The Acer TravelMate 6592 is an affordable, well-built laptop that should suit anyone looking for a capable, mostly desk-bound system. Although it's fairly basic, the webcam is a handy extra
