Look again -- it's not the G7 all over again but the updated Canon PowerShot G9. Although it strikes a similar pose to the G7, it's more than just a pretty face. The G9 has improved photo quality and restored RAW format support while maintaining excellent performance. Old is new againWe Like: A cornucopia of features; fast; built like a tank
We Don't Like: Relatively significant distortion at the widest angle of view; when zoomed out completely, lens intrudes into viewfinder; no optical zoom during movie capture
Judgement: If you're looking for a complement to your SLR, look no further. The G9 improves upon the G7 by improving photo quality and restoring raw format support while maintaining the same excellent performance and body design
