LONDON (Reuters) - Matt Banahan, David Wilson and Tom May will make their England rugby debuts in Saturday's clash with Argentina at Old Trafford, manager Martin Johnson said on Wednesday.
Bath winger Banahan and Newcastle prop Wilson played in the non-cap defeat by the Barbarians at Twickenham on Saturday while May starts at centre in place of the injured Jamie Noon.
With eight players away on Lions duty in South Africa, there is also a return for flanker Steffon Armitage.
He won one cap against Italy in this year's Six Nations but was then discarded. He is now reunited with brother Delon, who starts at fullback.
Andy Goode continues at flyhalf, outside Danny Care, but flanker Lewis Moody, who returned to the squad after a long injury absence on Saturday, misses out on the 22.

Uncapped Leicester back Sam Vesty is among the replacements.
Saturday's game is followed a week later by a return match against the Pumas in Salta, Argentina.
