LONDON (Reuters) - Scott Gray will start for the first time since making his international debut five years ago when Scotland face England in their final Six Nations fixture at Twickenham on Saturday.
The Northampton player replaces John Barclay at openside flanker, the only change to the starting line-up from the defeat against Ireland last week.
"Scott has been knocking on the door for some time now and deserves this opportunity," coach Frank Hadden told the Scotland Rugby website (www.scotlandrugbyteam.com).
"We're looking forward to going to Twickenham and seeking back to back Calcutta Cup wins for the first time since 1984."
The only other tweak to the squad is Glasgow Warriors back-row forward Kelly Brown returning to the replacements bench. "We've gone for Kelly on the bench for the coverage that he provides," Hadden said.

Gray, 31, made his debut against Australia in 2004 but has since been restricted to six appearances from the bench, the most recent against Italy in the 26-6 win over Italy last month when he scored his first international try.
That was Scotland's only victory in the championship. They are second from bottom.
