The first-leg match at the last 32 stage coincides with a meeting of the local council.

Three Conservative councillors have tried to get the meeting moved but have been unsuccessful.

Phil Ashcroft has confirmed he will be attending the match, while John Walsh and Andy Morgan are considering whether to stay away from the meeting.

"I will be going to the game and am very disappointed the meeting was not changed," said Ashcroft, who is a season ticket holder at the club.

The Trotters clinched a place in Europe for the first time after a sixth-placed finish in the Premiership last season.
