O'Briens Sandwich Bars

With 140 UK outlets and almost 300 stores worldwide, O'Briens has just launched a range of "sumptuous new healthy options - a selection of mouth-watering, brain-boosting snacks" to help keep your body functioning at its "optimum best".

We loved the delicious strawberry crunch pot! It came with a good helping of freshly chopped strawberries, pro-biotic yoghurt and filling granola that wasn't too sweet, just how we like it.
Rather than succumb to a bag of crisps or chocolate bar, the protein-packed vegetable dippers are a great healthy snacking option for those 4pm cravings.
Also part of their new healthy range, O'Briens are also offering butternut squash and sweet potato soup and a powerfood houmous Wrappo (pictured) packed full of tomatoes peppers, seeds and houmous. A filling (and very healthy) lunch all round!

Inko's Iced White Tea

Inko's Iced White Tea

"The idea for Inko's White Iced Tea was born out of three facts. There is no premium, white-tea-focused beverage company dedicated to bringing white tea and white tea only ready-to-drink beverages to people, there is no better tasting tea on the market (in our humble opinion of course) and, there is a lot of early-stage, medical research concerning the health benefits of white tea."

What we thought:

Currently available in four unusual flavours including Honeydew and Blueberry, these drinks weren't overpoweringly flavoured (in fact, we felt they could have been stronger) and they did have a nice white tea after-taste. After a couple of sips, one thing we did notice however was a slightly gritty sugar-coating left on our teeth. Best served chilled in our opinion, the glass bottle was a generous size, but perhaps a little too big and heavy for someone who just wants a quick refreshment on the go. We also thought the different flavours would make great mixers for cocktails and smoothies.
The health benefits of white tea would encourage make me buy these drinks again. Not only does white tea have higher level of antioxidents than green tea, but at less than 60 calories per bottle (Hint O' Mint and Honeysuckle flavours actually contain no calories at all) and naturally low in caffeine, this is a great healthy alternative to the many artificially flavoured drinks available.

SIP

SIP

"100% pure, SIP has no preservatives, artificial flavours or sweeteners. It just contains skin-friendly botanicals sourced from an organic farm in Herefordshire, vitamin C and fruit to taste. It's bottled in England too - so it has a tiny carbon footprint."

What we thought:

"I really liked and would definitely buy. I like the foil cap as this promoted freshness. Preferred elderflower out of them all, the lemongrass and honey was a bit too sweet for my taste. The mango was sweet but easy to drink. It's a great way to boost vitamin intake easily and there is less sugar compared to a smoothy. Being a concentrated juice it feels healthier and you get a 1/4 of your recommended daily intake from just 1 bottle. Best served chilled. " Rachel

Cobra Bite

Cobra Bite

The Cobra Bite range of four fruit-flavoured premium lagers features Sweet Lime, Blood Orange, Apple and Lemongrass flavours, all of which contain 100% natural fruit extracts.

What we thought:

"Lovely and refreshing - the perfect summer drink and small enough to be a ladies' as well as a lads' drink. I love the different flavours - after the first one, I wanted to try them all! I favoured sweet lime as I'm not really a lager drinker and it tasted more like lager and lime, but much more sohpisticated. Definitely buying more and recommended to friends - great for a BBQ." Rachel

"As a lover of Cobra and a lover of fruit beers, I was delighted at the opportunity of sampling Cobra's lemongrass and apple versions of fruit beer. The lemongrass flavour was my favourite by far. Very thirst quenching, and really satisfying. The flavour wasn't overwhelming but none-the-less apparent and was great as a summer evening cooler. I did enjoy the apple flavour; however this was a little sweet for my palate." Kyley

"A girly sounding drink in a manly looking bottle. Very refreshing but must be served ice cold. Needs to be in a bigger bottle as the drink was gone in seconds!" Jon

La Maison Du Chocolat

La Maison Du Chocolat

Inspired by the flamenco dancers of Seville, the Sevillane hosts a sensual explosion for the nose and taste buds through its five mouth-watering flavours and a variety of textures. Sevillane's dark chocolate ganaches come in four amazing flavours; mango, raspberry, exotic fruits and the fourth is fresh mint with wild strawberries . A further fifth flavour is the praline with lemon zest.

What we thought: This box of chocs is the ultimate in chic indulgence - even the packaging is sleek and cool. The chocolates combine a rich, velvety ganache with intense natural fruit flavours (my favourite was the wild strawberries and fresh mint).
They're great for sharing - the chocolates are bite size and very rich so, however much of a chocoholic you are, you can't eat that many so share them with your friends - you'll look generous and they'll all love you for it.
