Freeview Recorders (PVRs)

More commonly referred to as PVR (Personal Video Recorder) or DVR (Digital Video Recorder) - allows you to record TV programmes onto a hard disk that's built into a set-top box connected to your television. Below are Freeview receivers that are also PVRs so you get the best of both worlds and can even 'pause live tv' if your set allows it. If you want to record one programme whilst watching another, you'll need a 'twin tuner'. Plus it is also worth paying a bit more for a larger hard drive, then you can record to your hearts content.
