Your Order
Your confirmation email should arrive within one working day of placing an order online. Print it out and keep it, as you can refer to it more easily.

To check the progress of your order, you will be sent further emails if items are out of stock or have to be put on order. By visiting some of the larger sites, such as John Lewis, Marks and Spencer or LX you will be able to track the progress of your order online.

Have to hand the printed version of the confirmation email that will have been sent to you after you placed the order. This will give you a reference number and will set out clearly the details of the order that has been placed.

    Your delivery will be made by the method you specify (courier, Parcel Post, etc) to the address you give (the 'shipping address'. More about deliveries.

    If you change your mind and would like to cancel the order, you are within your rights to do so. If the order has already been dispatched to you and is in perfect condition, you may have to pay the delivery charge or the return postage. Many merchants will send you packaging to return goods if you cancel an order. Otherwise you will need to re-address it yourself.

    Check with the merchant before returning an order so that you are sure where to send it. On receipt of the goods, the supplier will be able to refund your money. More about returns.
