Telephone

The international code for France is 00 33 plus the French number you require. For Paris add 1 before the number. Otherwise there are no area codes for France. Other international codes are: Belgium - 00 32, Luxembourg - 00 352, Switzerland - 00 41. To phone the UK from France, dial 19 44 plus the UK area code less the first 0, e.g., London (0)171 or (0)181.
