An intriguing and advanced mollusc, occasionally found in rock pools at very low tide off rocky coasts of SW Britain and Ireland. Easily recognised by bulbous, bag-like body, large eyes and eight arms bearing powerful suckers. Active predator of crabs and other invertebrates. Can change colour quickly and dramatically.
