Length up to 3cm

A comparatively small slug, considered by some authors to be a form of Arion hortensis. Commonest in N England, lowlands of Scotland and parts of Ireland. Favours gardens and agricultural land and damages crops. Has yellowish orange sole and orange body mucus. Body usually striped and covered in tiny gold dots.
