A delicate little limpet. The brown, conical shell is marked with iridescent blue lines which radiate from the apex; young specimens are brightest. In life, invariably found attached to fronds, stalks or holdfasts of kelp; usually found inside excavated depression or cavity. Not normally visible until very low tide.
