Yellow Brain Fungus
Tremella mesenterica
Up to 8cm across

Often very distinctive, appearing as it does in winter, usually December­March. Fruit bodies are bright orange-yellow and jelly-like, forming convoluted, brain-like masses on dead twigs of deciduous trees. Widespread and generally common.
