Dryad's Saddle Dryad's Saddle
Polyporus squamosus
Up to 50cm across

Imposing and often massive polypore fungus which forms tiered brackets on ash, elm and other deciduous trees. Appears June­September. Upper surface is creamy buff, covered in dark brown scales. Lower surface creamy white with large pores.
