Blushing Bracket
Daedaleopsis confragosa
Up to 18cm across

Widespread and common bracket fungus on dead branches of willow, sallow and birch. Upper surface is concentrically zoned with brown and buff. Underside has white pores which bruise reddish and darken with age. Found September­November.
