Scrophularia auriculata
Height up to 70cm

Upright perennial of damp woods and water margins. Has characteristic 4-winged stems. Widespread and common throughout, except in Scotland. Leaves blunt-tipped with rounded teeth. Maroon and green, 2-lipped flowers appear June­September.
