Cyclopterus lumpus
Length up to 40cm, often much smaller

Curious, rather round-bodied fish. Young specimens typically mottled or marbled yellow-buff and brown but older fish rather grey above and reddish below. Usually found on rocky shores and can survive in turbulent waters, clinging to rocks with sucker formed by modified pelvic fins. Commonest on S coasts.
