Length 5mm

A small species of woodlouse. Body rather rounded in cross-section and elongate; usually pinkish purple in colour. Invariably found in damp locations and often common among leaves and debris that have collected in ditches or around the margins of woodland ponds. Widespread and fairly common but easily overlooked.
