Hooded Crow

Distinguished from closely related carrion crow by grey and black, not all-dark plumage. Appearance and habits otherwise identical to carrion crow. Occurs mainly in NW Scotland, Isle of Man and Ireland. Where range overlaps with carrion crow, subspecies sometimes mix and intermediate birds occur.
