Hadlee, Richard John


New Zealand cricketer who broke Ian Botham's world record of 373 Test wickets by taking 431 (later beaten by Kapil Dev in 1994). He played for Canterbury (New Zealand), Nottinghamshire (England), and Tasmania (Australia). He retired in 1990.
