Saarinen, Eero


Finnish-born US architect. He was renowned for his wide range of innovative modernist designs, experimenting with different structures and shapes. His works include the US embassy, London (1955–61); the TWA terminal at John F Kennedy Airport, New York City (1956–62); and Dulles Airport, Washington, DC (1958–63). He collaborated on a number of projects with his father, Eliel Saarinen.
