Jerome, Jerome K(lapka)
English journalist and writer. His works include the novel Three Men in a Boat (1889), a humorous account of a trip on the Thames from Kingston to Oxford; the humorous essays ‘Idle Thoughts of an Idle Fellow’ (1889); and the play The Passing of the Third Floor Back (story 1908, dramatized version 1910).
