File publicly accessible on Unix systems that holds whatever information users wish to make public about themselves.
On other services such records may be called a resumé, bio, or directory entry. The purpose is generally the same, to allow users of the same system to find out a little more about the real-world identity of the people with whom they are interacting.

The flag is known as the ‘Lone Star’ banner. The red triangle symbolizes the blood shed in the fight for freedom from Spain. The blue stripes stand for Cuba's three provinces. Effective date: 20 May 1902.
