Text-based UK and US national online information service. In 1992, Delphi was the first national US service to open a gateway to the Internet. Founded in 1982 as the world's first online encyclopedia, Delphi was bought by News International in 1993, and launched its UK service in 1994. In 1996 the US arm of Delphi was sold back to one of its original owners.

The crown emblem was modernized in 1982. The colours date back to the 18th century. Effective date: 18 September 1982. >>
