Changes to Tiscali Talk pricing
Notices below this line were posted before 1 December 2008 and so are shown including VAT at 17.5%.
Don't worry though, calls on bills dated after 1 December 2008 will be charged with VAT at 15%.
Calling UK numbers that begin with 03 will cost the same as calling 01 & 02 numbers. This means they will also become part of any inclusive calls that your tariff may have. If the call is not inclusive, you will pay your usual "National" rate for these calls. This will affect all Tiscali tariffs. 03 numbers are used by organisations and are part of the replacement for 0845 and 0870 numbers.
The Daytime rate to UK local and national numbers (01, 02 and 03 numbers) will be 4p per minute. This will affect the "Free Weekend Talk" and "Offpeak Talk" families of tariffs only.
The Evening rate to UK local and national numbers (01, 02 and 03 numbers) will change to 1.5p per minute, and will replace the "5p for up to 60 minutes" rate. This will only affect the "Free Weekend Talk" family of tariffs.
Call charges for calling 0845 and 0870 numbers will now be simpler. There will be just two timebands for calling these numbers: Daytime and Evening, seven days a week. This will affect the "Free Weekend Talk", "Offpeak Talk" and "Anytime Talk" families of tariffs.
Calls to 0870 numbers will change from 7.91p to 8p during the Daytime timeband, and from 3.95p to 4p in the Evening timeband, seven days a week. Calls to 0845 numbers will cost 4p during the Daytime timeband, and 2p during the Evening timeband, seven days a week. This will affect the "Free Weekend Talk", "Offpeak Talk" and "Anytime Talk" families of tariffs.
Inclusive UK calls (01, 02 and 03 numbers) will continue to be free for up to 60 minutes. After 60 minutes, calls will be charged at 4p per minute during the Daytime, or 1.5p per minute during the Evening and Weekend timebands, We recommend customers hang up and redial after 59 minutes to avoid incurring these charges. This will affect the "Free Weekend Talk", "Offpeak Talk" and "Anytime Talk" families of tariffs.
