• PC Tune Up

What are the technology requirements to receive Norton Premium Services?

Requirements to get the services include a PC and an Internet connection, but more defined specs are below.

• Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
• Broadband Internet connection (recommended)
• Windows XP or later (recommended)
• 800 MHz processor (recommended)
• 256 MB of RAM (recommended)

Mac's are not supported at this time

What differentiates Norton Premium Services from similar offerings by competitors?

What are the prices of the services?

Prices vary depending on the country or region, but US prices are as follows:

• PC Tune-Up: £47 (Tiscali Customer only, normal price is £69.95)
• Spyware & Virus Removal: £47 (Tiscali Customer only, normal price is £69.95)

Are Support and Norton Premium Services the same thing?

No. Support and this Service are different. Support provides Norton customers with information to solve problems involving their software. It cannot help you with removing a virus or spyware or with tuning up your PC to optimise it's performance. Norton Premium Services is a fee based service for any customer who has a PC and an Internet connection and wants security and performance related services performed for them.

Can non-Norton customers use Norton Premium Services to solve PC security and performance problems?

Yes. Anybody with a PC and an Internet connection can use Norton Premium Services. The focus of Norton Premium Services is to be a service provider. This is not a product offering.

Q. How large is each downloadable file?

A. Norton Anti-Virus is approximately 34MB, and Norton Internet Security is approximately 40MB.

Will I be required to remain on the phone while my PC is being serviced?

No. You can do other things, while your computer is being fixed. Customers can certainly watch and wait on the line while their computer is being fixed if they chose to. But it's not required
