Tiscali UK, the broadband, telephone and media company, today announces an extension to its partnership with Setanta Sports which will enable visitors to the Tiscali website to access Setanta Sports' three flagship sports channels online for just £7.99 a month.

The two companies are already working together following the launch of Setanta Sports on Tiscali TV in August but the step into the broadband market will see the companies roll out that partnership into one of the fastest growing areas in modern broadcasting.

Following the launch of the Setanta by Broadband product in May 2007 which saw Setanta Sports become the only broadcaster in the UK to offer live Barclays Premier League football online, Setanta has already built up a significant customer base for its online product. The move to offer the channels through the Tiscali site is likely to further its growth in this area, enabling access to live broadcasts of Setanta Sports 1, Setanta Sports 2 and Setanta Golf as well as on demand and highlights footage to tiscali.co.uk's 6.8 million users.

Through the service subscribers are able to access live Barclays Premier League and Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League games, as well as Blue Square Premier, exclusive European league matches from Germany, France, Portugal and Holland, live Rugby and top action from the US PGA Tour through any PC or Mac with a broadband connection enabling them to enjoy all of the greatest sporting action from anywhere in the UK.

Setanta Sports was first made available through Tiscali TV in August this year. Consumers can now also get access to the best live sport on www.tiscali.co.uk/setanta/.
