Tiscali Press Release - TISCALI SESSIONS GO LIVE ON CHANNEL 4

TISCALI AND CHANNEL 4 TEAM UP TO SCREEN INTIMATE LIVE MUSIC SHOWS

Tiscali, the broadband, telephone and media company, today announces a new partnership with Channel 4 to screen exclusive content from Tiscali's award winning portal. The deal will bring web content, filmed exclusively at last year's Reading Festival, to terrestrial television for the first time from 1st June.

As part of the six episode deal, Channel 4 will screen weekly performances from high-profile acts including The Fratellis, The Guillemots and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs filmed backstage at the 2006 Reading Festival. The full listings for the series are as follows;

Episode 1 - Fratellis - 1st June at 01.15
Episode 2 - Guillemots - 8th June at 02.30
Episode 3 - The Automatic - 15th June at 01.15
Episode 4 - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - 22nd June at 01.00
Episode 5 - Sway - 29th June at 00.45
Episode 6 - Tapes n Tapes - 6th July at 01.00

This announcement builds on Tiscali's growing reputation as a supporter of live music, which includes the sponsorship and coverage of top live music events. Tiscali has webcast mainstage performances and filmed live sessions from the Reading Festival for the past two years which are available at www.tiscali.co.uk/sessions. Tiscali has also filmed over 80 acts at its monthly music event Tiscali Showcase and made them available to watch for free at www.tiscali.co.uk/showcase.
