Tiscali Press Release - Tiscali Enters the SME Market with "Voice Ready" Broadband Launch

Tiscali, the broadband, telephone and media company, today announces the launch of its new "Voice Ready" Broadband product designed for the SME market. The Premium Broadband product will be the first to offer guaranteed voice quality over broadband with enhanced care and SLAs to support carrier class voice services.

Tiscali has extensive expertise in the enterprise market in both wholesale broadband and wholesale IPVPNs with guaranteed QoS and now, for the first time, makes its quality enterprise technology available to small businesses over a single DSL line. The product will be launched with Tiscali's preferred voice partner Gamma Telecom which will distribute "Voice Ready" Premium Broadband to SME VARs and provide PSTN and associated voice services.

The "Voice Ready" Premium Broadband product will initially support up to 4 standard telephone lines with guarantees on Packet Loss, Latency and Jitter over a single broadband line. This is a natural replacement for customers with multiple existing telephone lines or the obsolete BT Business Highway product.
