Tiscali today launches the Tiscali World Cup Challenge football competition, with a £58,000 prize pool, to coincide with the forthcoming tournament. Managers can win anything between £5 and £1000 per round and £250 to £25,000 across the tournament. Private leagues can also be set up with prizes of £25 to £100 to be won.

On kick-off starts the standard package enables managers to make up to five free transfers so picking Rooney might not be such a gamble after all! The standard entry bundle for £5.95 gives managers five free transfers in addition to entry to the game while the all-in bundle of £20.95 gives unlimited transfers.
