The Tiscali UK microsite www.tiscali.co.uk/reading, containing exclusive footage from this year's Carling Weekend: Reading Festival, has racked up an incredible half a million hits since the footage went live two weeks ago and that total is growing at a rate of knots. Over 100,000 people have logged on to watch live footage from the main stage including a full one hour set from Razorlight that is being broadcast every day at 7pm until Friday 23 September.
In addition, 17 exclusive and intimate Tiscali VIP Sessions recorded backstage during the Carling Weekend: Reading Festival will begin to go live from today, 15 September. First up will be exclusive sets from Echo & The Bunneymen and The Subways, which will be available for unlimited views at www.tiscali.co.uk/reading. Sessions will continue to appear weekly, right through to Christmas.
Birthday Showcase - 23 September
Tiscali UK are celebrating a double victory in the form of the Tiscali Showcase 1st Anniversary on Friday 23 September at the Islington Bar Academy. Featuring sets from the hotly-tipped BRAKES (featuring members of British Sea Power and Electric Soft Parade), FOUR DAY HOMBRE who have been championed by none other than Chris Moyles and the queen of Radio 1 Jo Whiley and relative newcomers EYE who will be hoping to wow the crowds when they hit the Bar Academy's stage. Signifying Tiscali UK's first foray into the world of live music and Tiscali's dedication to the development of new UK music, the TISCALI SHOWCASE nights have proved to be the most popular club night of the past 12 months.
Tiscali UK would like to invite you to join us and celebrate the first anniversary of the Tiscali Showcase night. VIP's can join us for a glass of champagne and music from some of the UK's hottest new bands.
