Tiscali launches 2Mb Broadband at £19.99

Tiscali UK today launches a further assault on the broadband market with a new 2Mb* broadband service at £19.99 a month, £10 less than the nearest AOL product and £7 less than BT Yahoo's equivalent product.

Mary Turner, CEO Tiscali UK says: "It's always our aim to provide the best value broadband on the market. We think the Tiscali 2Mb at £19.99 is another breakthrough price for consumers".

The new product is now promoted alongside Tiscali's 512Kb (30Gb monthly limit) and 1Mb (2Gb monthly limit) products both at £15.99 a month. All products include free set up and free modem, worth approximately £80.

In January 2005, Tiscali announced a free speed upgrade for all existing customers** and reduced the prices for all broadband products across the board.

Tiscali's reduction in the price of their broadband packages draws further attention to the diversity of emerging and mature broadband markets.

New product prices

Up to 512Kb (30Gb limit) - £15.99 per month

Up to 1Mb (2Gb limit) - £15.99 per month

Up to 2Mb (15Gb limit) - £19.99 per month
FREE set up and modem for all products / minimum 1 year contract

So, in the words of the Tiscali TV ads "now everyone in the land can afford Superfast broadband".
