The company that was instrumental in taking on BT and making broadband affordable in the UK, is doing it again with the announcement of its 2005 broadband offers, available from today.

Tiscali is again throwing down the gauntlet, with the best offers for both new and existing broadband customers. The price for its uncapped 256kbps (up to 5x faster) broadband has been cut to the ground-breaking price of £15.99 a month, and the price of its 512kbps Broadband (also uncapped) falls to £19.99.

In addition, Tiscali is launching two new 1mbps Broadband packages (up to 20x faster). An uncapped 1mbps service at £24.99 a month, and a new 1mbps 2Gb capped service at £15.99 a month* - a full £2.00 a month less than Wanadoo's similar £17.99 service (Introductory offer).

Tiscali is the only ISP to offer a choice of Broadband packages at only £15.99 a month, the same price as BT and AOL charge for dial-up internet.

Tiscali is also rewarding its loyal broadband customers with an absolutely free upgrade to the next speed level.** 150kbps customers will be upgraded first to 256kbps, 256kbps to 512kbps and 512kbps to 1mbps.***

Tiscali also offers a range of 'SmartTalk' telephone packages with guaranteed savings over BT call rates. Tiscali's 'Free Weekend Extra' package, offers free weekend calls to UK landlines and all other calls guaranteed cheaper than BT with no monthly fee.

From the New Year, Customers who register for one of the new uncapped broadband services will be able to get up to £3 a month off their Broadband bill, if they choose the SmartTalk 'Free Weekend Extra' phone package at the same time#.
