Media Centre at Tiscali

As CEO of Tiscali UK, Mary Turner is responsible for all UK operations, including access, media, Tiscali Business Services and Tiscali's IP networks and infrastructure. Ms Turner led the integration of strategic acquisitions Liberty Surf, World Online, LineOne, Tiny ISP and Gateway ISP and the acquisition of npower's voice business in September 2003, merging these differing companies within Tiscali's established brand.

Mary has been in the ISP business since 1994 when she was General Manager UK (ISP and Portal) and Vice-President Marketing Europe for AOL Bertelsmann/Compuserve Information Services. In this role she developed and implemented the marketing strategy of Compuserve taking it to number one brand position. In 1999 she became CEO of LineOne, a joint venture between BT and United Media, and led the sale of the business to Tiscali in 2001 where she remained as Managing Director until her appointment as CEO in September 2003.
