SALZBURG (Reuters) - Sweden coach Lars Lagerback selected Henrik Larsson to play up front with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in their Euro 2008 Group D match against holders Greece on Tuesday.
Larsson is returning from international retirement while Ibrahimovic has not scored for Sweden since October 2005 and is not certain to last the full 90 minutes due to a knee injury.
Christian Wilhelmsson got the nod on the right wing ahead of Sebastian Larsson in the team for his first major finals.
Greece coach Otto Rehhagel opted to play with two strikers instead of the three he has used recently, bringing in defender Paraskevas Antzas who will move forward as often as possible.
Six of the starting team also played in the Euro 2004 final, including captain Angelos Basinas.
Greece: 1-Antonis Nikopolidis; 2-Giourkas Seitaridis; 16-Sotiris Kyrgiakos, 19-Paraskevas Antzas, 5-Traianos Dellas, 15-Vassilis Torosidis; 6-Angelos Basinas, 21-Costas Katsouranis; 9-Angelos Haristeas, 10-Giorgios Karagounis; 17-Fanis Gekas
Sweden: 1-Andreas Isaksson; 7-Niclas Alexandersson, 3-Olof Mellberg, 4-Petter Hansson, 2-Mikael Nilsson; 21-Christian Wilhelmsson, 8-Anders Svensson, 19- Daniel Andersson, 9-Fredrik Ljungberg; 10-Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 17-Henrik Larsson
