Helena Bonham Carter is pregnant

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actress Helena Bonham Carter, who recently starred in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," is pregnant with her second child with director Tim Burton, according to published reports on Thursday.

News of the pregnancy was first reported on People magazine’s Web site on Wednesday, citing one of Bonham Carter’s publicists, with other media outlets picking up the story the following day.

Burton, 48, and Bonham Carter, 41, met during the filming of the 2001 movie "Planet of the Apes," and they have one child together, who was born in 2003, though they are not married.

The actress and director have worked together on numerous films, including "Big Fish" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," as well as an upcoming adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street."
