The housemates each shared heartfelt words with one another on their final night in the house.
After 92 days, the group sat down on Thursday night for a celebratory meal, which they followed with speeches and toasting.
Rex told the others he had "the most amazing experience" - and even felt like he had become closer to them than any of his friends on the outside.
"I'm surprised at myself," he continued, "because when I came here I wanted to make peace with myself. I've spent many, many years trying to escape myself. I became friends with myself in the House."
Raising his glass to Darnell, Rachel, Sara and Mikey, he concluded: "I could honestly sit here and say that I consider everyone at this table a friend."
He then turned to Mikey, his longtime foe, and added: "I would consider you a friend, Mikey."
"I would now, Rex," agreed Mikey.
When it was Rachel's turn, she told the group that while she had missed her loved ones over the summer, she felt blessed to have "found another family."
"Thank you for a brilliant 13 weeks. This is the perfect place to be," she smiled.
She also proposed a special toast to Mohamed and Kathreya before Sara asked Darnell: "What have you enjoyed the most about your Big Brother experience?"
"Just meeting all these beautiful people," he replied. "I came in here feeling lonely, .....
