WILL SMITH's eldest son TREY refuses to following in his father's acting footsteps - because he would prefer to become the next DAVID BECKHAM.

The 15-year-old - Smith's child with first wife Sheree Zampino - has ruled out appearing onscreen with his father like younger brother Jaden, nine, in the 2006 movie In The Pursuit of Happyness because he'd rather be a soccer star.

Smith says, "Trey couldn't care less about acting or being in the movies. Football is his thing. He just loves it." (LJ/WNTST/JC)
