Middle Class Thieves

Keele University has unveiled a new report called: "Law Abiding Majority" that claims that most of us break the law every day.

The crimewave that's sweeping the nation centres not around housing estates in under-privileged areas but in comfortable middle class homes.

According to the survey, the worst offenders are highly paid people who have over-stretched themselves financially.

Measured according to the actual amounts of money and people involved, fraud and white-collar' crime will outstrip offences such as burglary.

The report found that out of the 1,807 people in England and Wales that were questioned, 61 percent had committed a crime.
