GLASTONBURY, ENGLAND - Llitter-pickers, some of the 600 who were signed on to start today, pick up some of the rubbish on the start of the big clear-up of the Glastonbury Festival site at Worthy farm, Pilton on June 30, 2009 near Glastonbury, England. After the 137,000 music fans leave the site, over 1200 people remain to litter-pick and sort the 100s of tonnes of rubbish that has been left behind, which can include wellies, bedding, tents, cans of alcohol and other personal effects, in a finger-tip clear-up which removes all items, including every last cigarette butt, so that the land can be returned to diary farming. Any left items that cannot be traced can be claimed by the litter pickers and in the past that has included 6000 GBP in cash. (Photo by Matt Cardy/Getty Images)
